Devotion Yoga: The GOAT Path
Krishna is spilling the tea on Bhakti Yoga, the ultimate flex in spiritual disciplines. This chapter is all about why devotion is the superior path, and how to level up your devotion game. If you're all in, merging your consciousness with Krishna and dedicating every move to him, you'll escape the cycle of life and death faster than you can say 'Namaste'. Krishna also drops some serious knowledge on the qualities of his ride-or-die devotees.
Verse 1
Arjuna said, "Yo, who's more legit at Yoga—the peeps who are always worshipping you, or the ones who worship the unmanifested, the ultimate mystery?"
Verse 2
The Blessed Lord said, "No cap, the people who are all about me, worship me non-stop, and have, like, ultimate faith? They're the OG Yoga kings."
Verse 3
People who worship that, like, totally indestructible, indefinable, unmanifested, omnipresent, unthinkable, immovable, and eternal thing?
Verse 4
Yo, chill your senses, stay balanced, and care about everyone. Bet you'll reach Krishna.
Verse 5
Yo, those obsessed with the unmanifested? Big yikes. Reaching that goal? It's, like, impossible for us mortals.
Verse 6
But for the peeps who stan me, dropping all that action and making me their main goal, meditating on me with that laser focus yoga—that's the way.
Verse 7
Yo, Arjuna, for those who are all about me, like, seriously obsessed, I'm totally gonna be their lifeline out of the Samsara ocean, no cap.
Verse 8
Keep your mind and intellect locked on me, and you're guaranteed to be vibing with me in the afterlife, no cap.
Verse 9
Yo, Arjuna, if you can't keep your mind on me, then try to reach me through constant practice.
Verse 10
If you can't even do the Abhyasa Yoga thing, no biggie. Just do stuff for Krishna, and you'll be all good.
Verse 11
If you can't even do that, then just, like, vibe with me and ditch the whole 'what do I get out of this' thing. Self-control is key.
Verse 12
Knowing > doing. Meditating > knowing. Letting go of the rewards > meditating. Peace? Instant.
Verse 13
No hate for any creature, you feel me? You're all about good vibes and compassion for everyone. Zero attachment, no ego, you're balanced in the good times and the bad, and you're super forgiving.
Verse 14
Always chill, always meditating, always self-controlled, always believing, with their mind and intellect fully committed to Krishna—that devotee is Krishna's bestie.
Verse 15
The person who's, like, totally unbothered by the world, and the world can't even touch them? The one who's chill with no joy, anger, fear, or anxiety? Yeah, that's my dude.
Verse 16
No cap, the person who's got zero wants, is pure, a total pro, doesn't sweat the small stuff, and is pain-free, and has let go of all the side hustles? Yeah, that's my bestie.
Verse 17
No cap, the person who's, like, totally unbothered by good or bad vibes, doesn't stress about anything, and is all about that spiritual life? Yeah, that's my main man.
Verse 18
Yo, the real G is the same to their enemies and friends, winning or losing, hot or cold, happy or sad. They're not attached to any of that drama.
Verse 19
Yo, whoever's totally unbothered by hate or praise, stays low-key, is happy with anything, doesn't need a place to call home, has a stable mind, and is all about that devotion? That's my dude.
Verse 20
Yo, anyone who follows this immortal Dharma, is all about Krishna, and makes Krishna their main goal? They're like, totally Krishna's fave.
