Commentary

Okay, so Krishna's dropping some serious knowledge here about what it means to be a total boss-level devotee. He's laying down eight verses, the "Amritashtakam," that are straight fire. Basically, if you're all about the divine, you ain't hating on anyone. You're vibing with everyone, showing mad compassion, and seeing yourself in everyone. It's not just about not hating; it's about not hating *anyone*, even the peeps who are totally messing with you. Karuna? That's like, next-level empathy—you feel their pain as if it's your own. Mercy is a total godly flex, and if you wanna connect with the Divine, you gotta be all about that mercy. A true devotee is giving everyone total life security—they're like, the ultimate chill guru. Only a devotee can really get the Lord's mysterious ways. They see the Lord everywhere, in every creature, which is why they're so lit. They're like the sun or a river—giving to everyone equally. No 'mine' or 'thine' drama, no attachment to good or bad vibes. They're forgiving AF, like, totally unbothered by hate or drama. They're basically the chillest person ever.
