Verse 9.4

मया ततमिदं सर्वं जगदव्यक्तमूर्तिना। मत्स्थानि सर्वभूतानि न चाहं तेष्ववस्थितः।।9.4।।

mayā tatam idaṁ sarvaṁ jagad avyakta-mūrtinā mat-sthāni sarva-bhūtāni na chāhaṁ teṣhvavasthitaḥ

Meaning

Yo, the whole universe is totally permeated by me, in my unmanifested form. Everything exists because of me, but I'm not, like, *in* any of it.

Commentary

Okay, so like, everything is vibing in the Supreme Being's chill, unmanifest mode, right? Every single thing exists *because* of the Supreme Being, but the Supreme Being isn't, like, *in* any of it. It's not contained by anything. It's the ultimate source, the big boss, but it's not stuck inside anything. Think of it like space—space contains everything, but it's not *in* any specific thing. It's everywhere and nowhere at once. The Supreme Being is totally beyond all that. It's not limited by anything, it's just... *itself*. It's the ultimate reality, and everything else is just, like, a temporary blip in comparison. It's a paradox, I know, but that's how it is. It's all connected, but also totally separate. It's like, the ultimate flex.
