Verse 9.28

शुभाशुभफलैरेवं मोक्ष्यसे कर्मबन्धनैः। संन्यासयोगयुक्तात्मा विमुक्तो मामुपैष्यसि।।9.28।।

śhubhāśhubha-phalair evaṁ mokṣhyase karma-bandhanaiḥ sannyāsa-yoga-yuktātmā vimukto mām upaiṣhyasi

Meaning

Yo, you're gonna be totally free from the good and bad karma drama. Keep your mind focused on this whole renunciation thing, and you'll be chillin' with the big man.

Commentary

Okay, so like, 'evam' means you gotta give everything to the big man upstairs. Sannyasa is all about ditching the whole good-karma/bad-karma thing. Being 'Sannyasayogayuktatma'? That's having your mind totally locked into this whole renunciation vibe. It's all about offering everything to the Lord, that's the Yoga of renunciation. It's still 'yoga' even though it's an action. With your mind all about renunciation and yoga, you're gonna be free from all the good and bad juju, even while you're still alive. And when you kick the bucket, you're coming to Me. Someone's gonna be like, 'Wait, so God's all about favorites?' Nah, fam. God's impartial, no love or hate. His grace is for everyone, but devotees get it easier 'cause they're all in. Next verse explains it better.
