Verse 9.26

पत्रं पुष्पं फलं तोयं यो मे भक्त्या प्रयच्छति। तदहं भक्त्युपहृतमश्नामि प्रयतात्मनः।।9.26।।

patraṁ puṣhpaṁ phalaṁ toyaṁ yo me bhaktyā prayachchhati tadahaṁ bhaktyupahṛitam aśhnāmi prayatātmanaḥ

Meaning

Yo, if you hit me up with some mad devotion and, like, a leaf, a flower, some fruit, or even just a lil' water, I'm totally vibing with that. For real.

Commentary

Bro, like, even the tiniest offering, a leaf, a flower, some fruit, or even just water, is totally good with the Lord, as long as you're, like, *really* devoted. He's down with whatever, even Sudama's sad, dry rice or Sabari's berries. You don't gotta build some crazy golden temple, just, like, *actually* devote your heart. It's all about that pure devotion, fam. Indra's a whole different story; that dude wants the bling. The leaf, flower, fruit thing? It's all symbolic, you know? It's about that pure, unbreakable devotion. It's like, everything belongs to the Lord, so even a little something with real devotion is majorly appreciated. 'Asnami' means 'eat,' but, like, it's more about accepting the offering, you feel me?
