Verse 9.25

यान्ति देवव्रता देवान् पितृ़न्यान्ति पितृव्रताः। भूतानि यान्ति भूतेज्या यान्ति मद्याजिनोऽपि माम्।।9.25।।

yānti deva-vratā devān pitṝīn yānti pitṛi-vratāḥ bhūtāni yānti bhūtejyā yānti mad-yājino ’pi mām

Meaning

God worshippers? They link with the gods. Ancestor worshippers? They're with their ancestors. Elemental deity peeps? They're with the elementals. But my devotees? They're with me.

Commentary

Okay, so like, peeps who worship gods, they vibe with the gods. Ancestor worshippers? They chill with their ancestors. And those who are all about the elemental deities? Yeah, they hang with those elemental beings. But my devotees? They straight-up come to me. It's all about the energy you put out. Same effort, different results. If you're all about the gods, you become like them. Same goes for ancestors and elemental beings. It's all about your knowledge, faith, offerings, and how you worship. But a lot of people are clueless and don't worship me, so they get, like, zero rewards. My devotees? They get endless rewards and don't have to come back to this mortal coil. Plus, worshipping me is low-key easy.
