Meaning
They're totally possessed by some major demon energy, living in a fantasy world of fake hopes, pointless actions, and knowledge that's, like, totally bogus.
Commentary
Bro, like, their hopes are totally bogus. They chase fleeting stuff and miss out on the Eternal, which is, like, *major* FOMO. Their actions? Zero sacrifice to the Lord, so it's all pointless. Their rituals? They diss the Lord, so, yeah, no rewards. They're clueless, no self-awareness, only worshipping their bodies. They don't see the self beyond the body, total self-neglect. They commit heinous crimes, rob, murder—total demon vibes. Rakshasas are dark, Asuras are ego-driven. It's all about their own messed-up nature. They only see the outside, not the inner self, or God in the universe. It's all about eating and drinking. Hoping for rewards from karma alone, without the Lord's grace? That's delusional. Karma's inanimate, it can't give rewards independently. Only the Lord knows the connection between karma and rewards. Knowledge from books that ignore the Self? That's useless knowledge. Only knowledge of Brahman gives rewards.
