mayādhyakṣheṇa prakṛitiḥ sūyate sa-charācharam hetunānena kaunteya jagad viparivartate
Meaning
Yo, under the Lord's supervision, Nature's spitting out everything that moves and everything that's still. So, Arjuna, that's why the world keeps on turning.
Commentary
Okay, so like, the Lord is just vibing, totally chillin' as the ultimate observer. Nature's the one doing all the heavy lifting, creating all the stuff that moves and doesn't move. It's all about the Lord's presence, his proximity, that's the vibe that sets Nature in motion. Nature's the OG, the main cause of everything. Think of it like this: the sun's light makes things happen, but the sun isn't *doing* the things, right? Same with the Lord – he's not the one *doing* stuff, Nature is. It's like Brahman illuminating ignorance, the raw material of the world, making it all happen. The Lord's like a magnet, totally unaffected, but his presence makes the iron filings move. He's just watching the whole shebang, the moving and non-moving things, the manifested and unmanifested, spinning around and around. Why'd he create it all? It's a total mind-bender, a question that's beyond our comprehension. We can't say he did it for his own enjoyment, because, like, he doesn't even *do* enjoyment. He's just the ultimate observer.
