Meaning
The OG Lord said, "Yo, Arjuna, I'm 'bout to drop some major knowledge on you—the ultimate secret, the real deal self-realization. Once you get this, you're totally free from all the bad vibes."
Commentary
Okay, so like, this whole 'knowing thyself' thing? It's, like, the ultimate secret, no cap. It's not just book smarts about Brahman (that's *paroksha* brahma jnana, the theory); it's the *vibe*, the *feeling* of it (that's *aparoksha* brahma jnana, the real deal). That's how you escape the endless cycle of suffering, the whole samsara thing. It's, like, the deepest, most real secret ever. It's not something you can just explain; you gotta *experience* it. It's always been there, this inner light, this Atman, this Brahman, this supreme being, shining bright in everyone's heart. Some peeps have found it, you know? It's like finding the ultimate treasure. Knowing yourself is the only way to get free. Karma yoga helps, it cleanses your soul, gets you ready for that self-knowledge. Krishna's saying, 'Arjuna, I'm spilling the tea on this ultimate secret, this knowledge *and* experience, because you're not a hater.' Basically, no jealousy is key. Jealousy is a major vibe killer; it clouds your mind and makes you bitter. There are different types of jealousy, but it all boils down to being petty. It's ignorance. You gotta ditch that negativity and cultivate some major positive vibes—like, be noble, tolerant, generous, and chill. Arjuna was, like, the perfect student; he was straight-up, self-controlled, and had it all together. Krishna's low-key hinting at this, you know?
