Verse 8.26
शुक्लकृष्णे गती ह्येते जगतः शाश्वते मते। एकया यात्यनावृत्तिमन्ययाऽऽवर्तते पुनः।।8.26।।
śhukla-kṛiṣhṇe gatī hyete jagataḥ śhāśhvate mate ekayā yātyanāvṛittim anyayāvartate punaḥ
Meaning
Yo, the world's got these two paths, bright and dark, and they're, like, forever things. One's a dead end, the other's a loop.
Commentary
Okay, so like, the 'bright' path is, like, totally the godly route, for the peeps who are, like, *really* devoted. The 'dark' path? That's for the people who do all the rituals and stuff, hoping for a reward. It's not like *everyone* can just choose either path, you know? The bright path is for the devotees, and the dark one is for the ritual peeps. These paths are, like, *forever* things, as long as Samsara is a thing.
