Meaning

Yo, those who know Brahma's day—a thousand Yugas long—and his night—also a thousand Yugas—they *really* know day and night.

Commentary

Brahma's day and night? It's like, a whole thousand Yugas long, each one. Total cosmic flex. Knowin' that? Yeah, that's knowing day and night, fam. Day is like, the universe vibing, manifesting, all that. Night? Total cosmic reset, the big Pralaya. Even Brahmaloka, that *lit* place, ain't permanent. It's all temporary, even though it lasts for a thousand ages. Four Yugas, a thousand times? That's Brahma's day. Same thing again? Night. Only peeps who've seen both Brahma's day and night *really* get day and night. The Suryasiddhanta? Same vibes. It's all about time cycles. Kali Yuga, Dvapara Yuga, Treta Yuga, Krita Yuga... it all adds up to a Mahayuga. 71 Mahayugas plus some extra time = one Manvantara. 14 Manvantaras plus more time = one Kalpa. Two Kalpas? That's a Brahma day and night. 360 of those? One Brahma year. 100 Brahma years? That's his whole lifespan. During Pralaya, the universe is like, chilling in the Avyakta, the Unmanifested, the Mulaprakriti. It's like a seed, waiting to sprout. That's Brahma's night. Then, boom, the universe manifests again. Cosmic day. This whole day-night thing? It's an eternal loop in the macrocosm. Nothing lasts forever in this cycle. That's why the OG sages, the Upanishads peeps, they were all about that transcendental Supreme Being, the imperishable Self, the Purusha. They were beyond all this day-night stuff. Like, fried seeds can't sprout, right? Peeps who've reached Brahman, the Absolute, the Eternal? They ain't coming back to this messy world. No day, no night for them. They're one with the Absolute. The manifested and unmanifested? They're in Brahman. But Brahman is beyond all that. Worlds and bodies get destroyed, but Brahman? Nah, it's unaffected. Like waves and the ocean. Worlds come and go, but Brahman stays. It's like, ornaments made of gold. They go back to being gold. Worlds come from Brahman, go back to Brahman. Brahman's chillin'. It's always itself.
