Verse 7.14
दैवी ह्येषा गुणमयी मम माया दुरत्यया। मामेव ये प्रपद्यन्ते मायामेतां तरन्ति ते।।7.14।।
daivī hyeṣhā guṇa-mayī mama māyā duratyayā mām eva ye prapadyante māyām etāṁ taranti te
Meaning
No cap, this divine illusion of the Lord, made of these three major energies, is a total mindf*** to escape. Only those who are 100% committed to the Lord can escape this illusion.
Commentary
Bro, Maya is like, the *ultimate* cause of everything, the source code of this whole universe. It's totally part of the Lord's vibe, made up of these three major energies – Sattva, Rajas, and Tamas. Anyone who's, like, *fully* devoted to the Lord, ditching all the religious dogma, they totally transcend this illusion that trips everyone up. They achieve moksha, that ultimate freedom. The Lord is the ultimate boss of Maya, total control. Avidya is like, the individual soul's biggest limitation, keeping them trapped in ignorance. Ignorance is this huge veil, blocking the soul from the truth, from that ultimate Existence-Knowledge-Bliss. When that veil drops, thanks to self-knowledge, the soul isn't a soul anymore, it's one with Brahman. (Check out verses 15.3 and 15.4 for more deets!)
