Verse 7.1

श्री भगवानुवाच मय्यासक्तमनाः पार्थ योगं युञ्जन्मदाश्रयः। असंशयं समग्रं मां यथा ज्ञास्यसि तच्छृणु।।7.1।।

śhrī bhagavān uvācha mayyāsakta-manāḥ pārtha yogaṁ yuñjan mad-āśhrayaḥ asanśhayaṁ samagraṁ māṁ yathā jñāsyasi tach chhṛiṇu

Meaning

The OG Lord said, "Yo, Arjuna, listen up. Wanna know me, for real, no cap? Focus on me, practice yoga, and put your faith in me."

Commentary

Bro, tryna get that reward? Doing good deeds? Building hospitals? Whatever. You're doing it for clout, right? But a real yogi? Nah, they're all about that Lord, 24/7. They're obsessed. Like, seriously obsessed. Think omnipotence, omniscience, the whole shebang. It's not like serving a king, where you're still thinking 'bout your fam. This is all about the Lord. Focus on the Lord, fam. No cap. Control your mind, like, actually control it. Then you'll know the Lord, no doubt. Sing the Lord's praises, get that love flowing, and your mind will be locked in. Real devotion is all about that love. Know yourself, no cap. If you're all in on the Lord, you can't even be without them for a sec.
