Verse 6.40

श्री भगवानुवाच पार्थ नैवेह नामुत्र विनाशस्तस्य विद्यते। नहि कल्याणकृत्कश्िचद्दुर्गतिं तात गच्छति।।6.40।।

śhrī bhagavān uvācha pārtha naiveha nāmutra vināśhas tasya vidyate na hi kalyāṇa-kṛit kaśhchid durgatiṁ tāta gachchhati

Meaning

The Blessed Lord said, "Yo, Arjuna, it's no cap—you ain't gonna get wrecked in this life or the next. No way, no how. Anyone who does good stuff, my dude, is straight chilling."

Commentary

Bro, like, if you haven't totally nailed yoga this time around, no biggie. You ain't gonna, like, get destroyed in this life or the next. For sure, you won't be reborn into something worse. But what's up next? The Lord's gonna spill the tea in the next few verses.
