Verse 6.37
अर्जुन उवाच अयतिः श्रद्धयोपेतो योगाच्चलितमानसः। अप्राप्य योगसंसिद्धिं कां गतिं कृष्ण गच्छति।।6.37।।
arjuna uvācha ayatiḥ śhraddhayopeto yogāch chalita-mānasaḥ aprāpya yoga-sansiddhiṁ kāṅ gatiṁ kṛiṣhṇa gachchhati
Meaning
Arjuna said, "Yo, Krishna, what happens to someone who's all about yoga but can't keep it together? Like, they have faith, but their mind is all over the place. If they don't achieve yoga mastery, what's their fate?"
Commentary
Okay, so like, this dude has faith in yoga, right? But he's, like, totally unable to control his mind and senses. No focus, whatsoever. When he dies, his mind is all over the place, no memory of anything. So, like, if he doesn't achieve yoga perfection – you know, self-realization, knowing the true self – what's his deal? Where does he end up?
