Verse 5.15

नादत्ते कस्यचित्पापं न चैव सुकृतं विभुः। अज्ञानेनावृतं ज्ञानं तेन मुह्यन्ति जन्तवः।।5.15।।

nādatte kasyachit pāpaṁ na chaiva sukṛitaṁ vibhuḥ ajñānenāvṛitaṁ jñānaṁ tena muhyanti jantavaḥ

Meaning

The Lord ain't taking no credit or blame for your actions, no cap. Knowledge is low-key hidden by ignorance, and that's why everyone's so confused.

Commentary

Yo, knowledge is totally masked by ignorance, so peeps are always tripping. They're like, 'I did this, I got that, I'm gonna get this awesome reward!' It's all a delusion, fam. Even the Lord's devotees get caught up in this. You're bound when you're all about your body, mind, and vibes. But you're free when you connect with that immortal, chill self within. If you ain't even acting, how can the Lord be judging your good or bad deeds?
