Verse 4.7

यदा यदा हि धर्मस्य ग्लानिर्भवति भारत। अभ्युत्थानमधर्मस्य तदाऽऽत्मानं सृजाम्यहम्।।4.7।।

yadā yadā hi dharmasya glānir bhavati bhārata abhyutthānam adharmasya tadātmānaṁ sṛijāmyaham

Meaning

Yo Arjuna, whenever righteousness is, like, totally declining and unrighteousness is, like, booming, I gotta show up.

Commentary

Okay, so like, Dharma is, like, the total vibe that keeps everything together, you know? There's no real equivalent word, but it's like, what helps you reach enlightenment, that total chill. Adharma is the opposite, like, the total opposite of that, it's what makes you, like, not spiritual, not woke. Dharma is what levels you up, helps you reach your goals, and gain knowledge. Adharma is what drags you down into the abyss of ignorance and being basic.
