Verse 4.28
द्रव्ययज्ञास्तपोयज्ञा योगयज्ञास्तथापरे। स्वाध्यायज्ञानयज्ञाश्च यतयः संशितव्रताः।।4.28।।
dravya-yajñās tapo-yajñā yoga-yajñās tathāpare swādhyāya-jñāna-yajñāśh cha yatayaḥ sanśhita-vratāḥ
Meaning
Others, like, totally sacrifice with their bank accounts, their intense self-discipline, or their killer yoga skills. Meanwhile, the hardcore ascetics, the ones with the strictest rules, sacrifice by studying scriptures and dropping knowledge.
Commentary
Some peeps sacrifice by dropping mad cash on charity, others slay the self-discipline game and make that their sacrifice, some are all about that Raja Yoga life, hitting all eight limbs (Yama, Niyama, Asana, Pranayama, Pratyahara, Dharana, Dhyana, and Samadhi), and offering that as a sacrifice. Others drop knowledge bombs from the scriptures and call that their sacrifice.
