Verse 4.1

श्री भगवानुवाच इमं विवस्वते योगं प्रोक्तवानहमव्ययम्। विवस्वान् मनवे प्राह मनुरिक्ष्वाकवेऽब्रवीत्।।4.1।।

śhrī bhagavān uvācha imaṁ vivasvate yogaṁ proktavān aham avyayam vivasvān manave prāha manur ikṣhvākave ’bravīt

Meaning

The OG Lord said, "Yo, I schooled Vivasvan in this unbreakable Yoga; then he schooled Manu; Manu schooled Ikshvaku."

Commentary

Okay, so like, Vivasvan is the sun, and Ikshvaku was Manu's son, total ancestor of the, like, *royal* Kshatriya fam. This Yoga is, like, *immortal* because the outcome, you know, *moksha*, is also immortal. If the rulers are all, like, *woke* to this Yoga stuff from the last two chapters, they can, like, *totally* protect the Brahmanas and rule with justice. So yeah, I taught this Yoga to the sun god way back when.
