śhrī bhagavān uvācha kāma eṣha krodha eṣha rajo-guṇa-samudbhavaḥ mahāśhano mahā-pāpmā viddhyenam iha vairiṇam

Meaning

The Lord said, "Desire and anger? Total Rajas vibes. They're insatiable and evil AF. Consider them your mortal enemies."

Commentary

Yo, Bhagavan is like, the OG with all the skills: knowledge, chill vibes, fame, sick powers, wealth, and strength. Basically, the ultimate boss. Desire is the root of all evil, fam. Anger? That's just desire getting salty when things don't go its way. It's all fueled by Rajas, that intense energy that makes you go for what you want. So, yeah, desire is your main enemy in this world.
