Verse 3.27

प्रकृतेः क्रियमाणानि गुणैः कर्माणि सर्वशः। अहङ्कारविमूढात्मा कर्ताऽहमिति मन्यते।।3.27।।

prakṛiteḥ kriyamāṇāni guṇaiḥ karmāṇi sarvaśhaḥ ahankāra-vimūḍhātmā kartāham iti manyate

Meaning

No cap, everything's all about the vibes of Nature. It's the Gunas doing their thing. But if you're all ego, you're gonna be like, 'OMG, I'm the one doing all this!' It's a total mind-warp.

Commentary

Okay, so like, Prakriti, or Nature, is where the three Gunas—Sattva, Rajas, and Tamas—vibe in total equilibrium. But when that balance gets totally wrecked, creation starts, and boom, you've got bodies, senses, minds, the whole shebang. The person who's totally tripping on their ego thinks they're the body, mind, life force, and senses all rolled into one, and that *they* are responsible for everything. It's like, major delusion. They're all, 'I'm the one doing it!' But no cap, it's actually the Gunas of Nature running the show. It's all in those other verses too, you know, 3.29, 5.9, 9.9-10, 13.21-24, 30, 32, and 18.13-14.
