Verse 3.26

न बुद्धिभेदं जनयेदज्ञानां कर्मसङ्गिनाम्। जोषयेत्सर्वकर्माणि विद्वान् युक्तः समाचरन्।।3.26।।

na buddhi-bhedaṁ janayed ajñānāṁ karma-saṅginām joṣhayet sarva-karmāṇi vidvān yuktaḥ samācharan

Meaning

No cap, a wise person ain't gonna mess with the heads of ignorant people who are all about doing stuff. They gotta keep those peeps busy doing their thing, while the wise person does their thing with devotion.

Commentary

Okay, so like, an ignorant person is all, 'Imma do this thing and get all the rewards!' A wise person isn't gonna be like, 'Nah, you're wrong!' No way. Instead, they gotta lead by example, doing their stuff perfectly but without getting attached to the outcome. They gotta hype up the ignorant peeps to not slack off on their responsibilities. If they gotta, they should paint a super vivid picture of how awesome life will be, both now and later, if they just do their thing. Once those peeps' minds are clear, the wise person can drop some knowledge on Karma Yoga – doing stuff without wanting anything in return.
