Verse 3.17
यस्त्वात्मरतिरेव स्यादात्मतृप्तश्च मानवः। आत्मन्येव च सन्तुष्टस्तस्य कार्यं न विद्यते।।3.17।।
yas tvātma-ratir eva syād ātma-tṛiptaśh cha mānavaḥ ātmanyeva cha santuṣhṭas tasya kāryaṁ na vidyate
Meaning
But for the person who's all about that self-love, who's totally content and satisfied within themselves, there's literally nothing left to do.
Commentary
No cap, the sage is straight chillin'. They don't need no external stuff for happiness. They're totally self-satisfied, their joy and contentment is all internal. For a sage who's got that self-knowledge, it's a no-brainer; there's nothing left to do. They've already done it all, achieved all their desires, and are completely content. (II.55)
