Verse 3.16

एवं प्रवर्तितं चक्रं नानुवर्तयतीह यः। अघायुरिन्द्रियारामो मोघं पार्थ स जीवति।।3.16।।

evaṁ pravartitaṁ chakraṁ nānuvartayatīha yaḥ aghāyur indriyārāmo moghaṁ pārtha sa jīvati

Meaning

If you ain't following the system, Arjuna, if you're all about that sinful life and sensory overload, you're basically living for nothing, dude.

Commentary

Okay, so like, the Creator started this whole cycle of action, based on the Vedas and sacrifices. If you're not vibing with that – not studying the Vedas, not doing the sacrifices, just obsessed with sensory pleasures – you're totally wasting your life, bro. It's a major L. Not following this law, being all selfish? That's a straight-up sin. You're breaking the Creator's rules, and that's the ultimate no-no.
