Verse 3.13

यज्ञशिष्टाशिनः सन्तो मुच्यन्ते सर्वकिल्बिषैः। भुञ्जते ते त्वघं पापा ये पचन्त्यात्मकारणात्।।3.13।।

yajña-śhiṣhṭāśhinaḥ santo muchyante sarva-kilbiṣhaiḥ bhuñjate te tvaghaṁ pāpā ye pachantyātma-kāraṇāt

Meaning

Yo, if you're all about that righteous life and you eat the leftovers from the sacrifice, you're totally Gucci, all your sins are gone. But if you're a total villain and only cook for yourself, you're absorbing all the bad vibes.

Commentary

Okay, so like, if you, like, totally eat the leftovers from the, like, *epic* sacrifice, you're, like, totally cleansed of all your bad vibes. But if you're, like, a total sinner and only cook for yourself, you're, like, totally absorbing all the bad juju. It's all about those five major sacrifices, fam. You know, the pestle and mortar, the grinding stone, the fireplace, the water pot spot, and the broom—they all, like, *totally* kill bugs, right? So, doing those five MahaYajnas washes away all that bad karma. It's like, you gotta offer to the gods (DevaYajna), teach the scriptures (BrahmaYajna or RishiYajna), give water to your ancestors (PitriYajna), feed the hungry (NriYajna), and feed the animals (BhutaYajna). It's a whole vibe.
