Verse 3.12

इष्टान्भोगान्हि वो देवा दास्यन्ते यज्ञभाविताः। तैर्दत्तानप्रदायैभ्यो यो भुङ्क्ते स्तेन एव सः।।3.12।।

iṣhṭān bhogān hi vo devā dāsyante yajña-bhāvitāḥ tair dattān apradāyaibhyo yo bhuṅkte stena eva saḥ

Meaning

The gods, after you feed them with sacrifices, will give you all the stuff you want. But if you're taking all that without giving back? Yeah, you're a straight-up thief.

Commentary

Okay, so like, the gods are totally vibing with your sacrifices, right? They're gonna hook you up with all the good stuff – kids, cash, the whole shebang. But if you're just, like, taking all that without giving anything back? Major thief vibes. You're straight-up robbing the gods.
