Verse 2.72
एषा ब्राह्मी स्थितिः पार्थ नैनां प्राप्य विमुह्यति। स्थित्वाऽस्यामन्तकालेऽपि ब्रह्मनिर्वाणमृच्छति।।2.72।।
eṣhā brāhmī sthitiḥ pārtha naināṁ prāpya vimuhyati sthitvāsyām anta-kāle ’pi brahma-nirvāṇam ṛichchhati
Meaning
Yo, Pritha's son, this Brahmic state is the ultimate truth, the OG vibe. Hit this level, and you're never gonna be confused. Stay locked in, and you'll achieve oneness with Brahman, even when you're about to check out.
Commentary
Yo, the previous verse was all about ditching everything and vibing with Brahman, right? That's the Brahmic state, the ultimate chill zone. If you reach that level, you're never gonna be sus. You're straight-up achieving moksha, even when it's your time to go. And obviously, if you're all about Brahman your whole life, you're already there, achieving Brahmic Nirvana. Vidyaranya, this OG philosopher, says 'Antakala' means the moment when the whole 'self vs. not-self' illusion ends. So, that's a wrap on this Sankhya Yoga convo between Krishna and Arjuna. Peace out.
