Verse 2.49
दूरेण ह्यवरं कर्म बुद्धियोगाद्धनञ्जय। बुद्धौ शरणमन्विच्छ कृपणाः फलहेतवः।।2.49।।
dūreṇa hy-avaraṁ karma buddhi-yogād dhanañjaya buddhau śharaṇam anvichchha kṛipaṇāḥ phala-hetavaḥ
Meaning
Arjuna, bruh, actions are, like, totally basic compared to the yoga of wisdom. Seek wisdom, fam. Anyone who's all about the rewards is straight-up cringe.
Commentary
Okay, so like, the yoga of wisdom is, like, way better than just, like, doing stuff. A real yogi, they're chill, they don't even trip about winning or losing. It's not about the outcome, it's about the vibe. People who are all about the rewards? Total losers. It's a trap, it keeps you stuck in the cycle of life and death.
