Verse 2.40

नेहाभिक्रमनाशोऽस्ति प्रत्यवायो न विद्यते। स्वल्पमप्यस्य धर्मस्य त्रायते महतो भयात्।।2.40।।

nehābhikrama-nāśho ’sti pratyavāyo na vidyate svalpam apyasya dharmasya trāyate mahato bhayāt

Meaning

No cap, there's zero loss, no bad vibes, no slip-ups. Even a little bit of this knowledge keeps you safe from major freak-outs.

Commentary

Okay, so like, in other stuff, if you, like, totally mess up a ritual or something, it's a total waste of time, and you get, like, no good karma. But Karma Yoga? It's different. Every move you make is instantly purifying your soul. Farming? Total gamble. You could work your butt off, but if it doesn't rain, you're screwed. Not with Karma Yoga. No risk, no uncertainty. And, like, there's no way you're gonna get hurt. Doctors? They can totally mess up and hurt you. But Karma Yoga? Nah. Even the tiniest bit of effort on this path saves you from the total nightmare of reincarnation. Krishna's basically hyping up Karma Yoga to Arjuna, trying to get him on board.
