Verse 18.72

कच्चिदेतच्छ्रुतं पार्थ त्वयैकाग्रेण चेतसा।कच्चिदज्ञानसंमोहः प्रनष्टस्ते धनञ्जय।।18.72।।

kachchid etach chhrutaṁ pārtha tvayaikāgreṇa chetasā kachchid ajñāna-sammohaḥ pranaṣhṭas te dhanañjaya

Aight, Arjuna, did you, like, *actually* hear all that? Is the crazy confusion in your brain finally gone, Dhananjaya?

Commentary

Yo, Arjuna, did you actually *get* all that I just dropped on you? Is the major brain fog of your ignorance, like, *gone*? It's a teacher's job to make sure you understand the teachings and hit that ultimate life goal (moksha). If you're still confused, I gotta explain it differently, maybe with some sick analogies and examples. That's why Krishna's all, 'Arjuna, did you even *hear* me? Did you *get* it? One-track mind, focus on the teachings. Ignorance delusion? That's the lack of understanding caused by, well, ignorance. The goal is to destroy that delusion. You gotta listen, and I gotta teach.
