Verse 18.58

मच्चित्तः सर्वदुर्गाणि मत्प्रसादात्तरिष्यसि।अथ चेत्त्वमहङ्कारान्न श्रोष्यसि विनङ्क्ष्यसि।।18.58।।

mach-chittaḥ sarva-durgāṇi mat-prasādāt tariṣhyasi atha chet tvam ahankārān na śhroṣhyasi vinaṅkṣhyasi

Meaning

Keep your eyes on me, and with my help, you'll conquer everything. But if you're too busy being a big egotistical jerk and ignore me, you're done.

Commentary

Bro, if you're all about focusing on me, like, really focusing, then you'll totally slay all the obstacles, no cap. It's all about my grace, fam. But if you're all, 'Nah, I got this,' and ignore me because of your massive ego, then you're totally screwed. Obstacles? Think problems, drama, temptations, the whole shebang of life's BS. Ego? It's that 'I'm too smart for this' attitude. Don't be that guy. You ain't independent, you need my help.
