Commentary
Okay, so like, Brahmabhutah? That's when you've, like, totally become one with the divine, you know? The next verse is all about that chill, ultimate freedom vibe. This person is, like, *so* zen. Completely balanced, no stress. Their little personal problems? Whatever. They're past that. It's all unity, man. No more waking-up-and-dreaming-false-reality stuff. They don't even sweat the small stuff, like, not getting what they want. Win or lose, they're totally even-keeled. No desires, no longing. It's also like, they don't get super hyped or bummed out about anything. 'Samah sarveshu bhuteshu'? They're walking in other people's shoes, feeling their pain. Super empathetic, you know? Like, if someone's hurting, they're hurting. Total compassion. It's all about cosmic love, being a total bro to everyone. No jealousy, no hate, no judgment. It's this huge, expansive love, you can't even describe it, you gotta experience it. And that's how you get supreme devotion to Krishna, the highest level, the wisdom-knowledge type of devotion, you know? (Check out chapter 2, verse 70 for more on that.)
