Commentary
Yo, if you do your job, like, *actually* do your job, based on what you're all about, your soul's gonna be, like, totally cleansed, and you're straight-up going to the heavenly realm. It's like, legit, according to the Apastambha Dharma Sutra. It's all about doing your thing, and then, after you're gone, you reap what you sow. Your karma carries over, and you get a better life next time around—longer life, mad skills, good vibes, wealth, happiness, and major brainpower. The Puranas are all about this, too—each caste gets their own rewards and afterlife destinations based on how they handled their biz.
