Verse 18.34
यया तु धर्मकामार्थान् धृत्या धारयतेऽर्जुन।प्रसङ्गेन फलाकाङ्क्षी धृतिः सा पार्थ राजसी।।18.34।।
yayā tu dharma-kāmārthān dhṛityā dhārayate ‘rjuna prasaṅgena phalākāṅkṣhī dhṛitiḥ sā pārtha rājasī
Meaning
Yo, Arjuna, that whole 'holding onto dharma, chasing pleasure, and stacking that wealth' thing? If you're doing it 'cause you're obsessed and crave the rewards, that's some straight-up passionate, Rajasic energy, my guy.
Commentary
Bro, a person with Rajasic firmness thinks they're gonna slay the trifecta of life—dharma, wealth, and pleasure—and they're obsessed with it. They're all about the rewards, chasing dharma, riches, and good times. Their grip on life? Totally passionate, my dude.
