Verse 18.20

सर्वभूतेषु येनैकं भावमव्ययमीक्षते।अविभक्तं विभक्तेषु तज्ज्ञानं विद्धि सात्त्विकम्।।18.20।।

sarva-bhūteṣhu yenaikaṁ bhāvam avyayam īkṣhate avibhaktaṁ vibhakteṣhu taj jñānaṁ viddhi sāttvikam

Meaning

That thing where you see the indestructible reality in all beings, and it's not separate in any of them? Yeah, that's some straight-up sattvic knowledge.

Commentary

Yo, that knowledge that sees no cap in all the things that are vibin'? That's pure, fam. The seer is peepin' that one all-pervadin', unbreakable essence behind all the seeming differences. It's unity in diversity, one in many, all in one. They seein' that all the different things are rooted in the One. Bhavam? That's the One Self. Sarvabhuteshu? That's in all beings, from the unmanifested to the inanimate objects. Avyayam? That's indestructible, inexhaustible, unchangeable. It can't be exhausted, ever. Like, the ether is indivisible, right? Same with the Self. It's the same in all bodies, the common consciousness. It ain't different in different bodies. It's one homogenous, indivisible essence in all bodies, in all beings. Arjuna, know this direct perception of the non-dual Self as pure, straight up.
