Verse 17.25

तदित्यनभिसन्धाय फलं यज्ञतपःक्रियाः।दानक्रियाश्च विविधाः क्रियन्ते मोक्षकाङ्क्षि।।17.25।।

tad ity anabhisandhāya phalaṁ yajña-tapaḥ-kriyāḥ dāna-kriyāśh cha vividhāḥ kriyante mokṣha-kāṅkṣhibhiḥ

Meaning

Dropping a 'Tat' without chasing the clout? That's how you do sacrifices, austerities, and gifts, fam. It's all about that liberation.

Commentary

Okay, so like, 'Tat' means, like, the ultimate reality, right? It's not about clout or flexing, it's about, like, total self-actualization. When you're doing good deeds—sacrifices, austerities, charity—and you're all, 'This is for the greater good, not for me,' that's the vibe. It's about letting go of the ego and the whole karma thing. It's like, you're vibing with the universe, and everything you do is pure, no strings attached. It's about that spiritual glow-up, you know? It's like, you're one with the source, the ultimate being. You're not attached to the results, you're just doing your thing, and that's lit.
