यतन्तो योगिनश्चैनं पश्यन्त्यात्मन्यवस्थितम्।यतन्तोऽप्यकृतात्मानो नैनं पश्यन्त्यचेतसः।।15.11।।
yatanto yoginaśh chainaṁ paśhyanty ātmany avasthitam yatanto ‘py akṛitātmāno nainaṁ paśhyanty achetasaḥ
Meaning
Yogins striving for perfection? They see the divine chillin' in their own selves. But unrefined and unintelligent peeps? Nah, they don't see it, even if they try hard.
Commentary
Okay, so like, the whole deal about the individual soul's journey is done. Yogins who, like, *really* strive—with, like, *serious* dedication, faith, and a chill mindset—they see the divine within themselves. They're like, 'OMG, that's me!' But, like, people who are, like, totally unrefined and clueless? Even if they try hard, they're not gonna see it. It's not just about reading scriptures; you gotta have a pure mind and meditate *hard*. Only then will you realize that you're one with the Supreme Being. It's like, the Supreme Being is beyond everything—fire, stars, the sun, moon—and once you reach it, you're not coming back to this mortal coil. Individual souls are just, like, temporary illusions, like how ether in a pot seems limited but is actually part of the whole universe. When you break the pot (ignorance), the ether (individual soul) merges with the universal ether (Supreme Being). It's all about realizing 'That thou art' or 'I am the Supreme Being.' Then you get it—Brahman is everything, the source of all experiences. To help Arjuna get this, the Lord gives a summary of his awesomeness in the next four verses. It's all about the Self's pervasiveness.
