Verse 14.9

सत्त्वं सुखे सञ्जयति रजः कर्मणि भारत।ज्ञानमावृत्य तु तमः प्रमादे सञ्जयत्युत।।14.9।।

sattvaṁ sukhe sañjayati rajaḥ karmaṇi bhārata jñānam āvṛitya tu tamaḥ pramāde sañjayaty uta

Meaning

Sattva's all about that good vibe, that happiness, Rajas is all about the action, Arjuna, but Tamas? Total knowledge blackout. It's all about being clueless.

Commentary

Bro, it's like, total darkness, right? A dark cloud blocks the sun, and Tamas is like, that dark cloud, blocking your inner light. It makes you, like, totally detached, not caring about your responsibilities, and just, like, ignoring everything you should be doing.
