mānāpamānayos tulyas tulyo mitrāri-pakṣhayoḥ sarvārambha-parityāgī guṇātītaḥ sa uchyate
Meaning
Yo, whoever's totally unbothered by clout or hate, same with friends and enemies, and doesn't sweat the small stuff? That's someone who's totally transcended the duality, for real.
Commentary
Okay, so like, this dude is totally chill, no matter what happens. Doesn't matter if people are stanning him or dragging him, he's the same. Friends or foes? Doesn't matter. He's not stressing about anything, he's above all that petty drama. He's reached a whole other level, like, beyond the three gunas. He's vibing in his own lane, totally self-actualized. It's not that he's lazy, he does what he needs to do to survive, but he's not chasing clout or anything. This whole 'indifference' thing? It's a vibe, a goal. You gotta work towards it. But real knowledge? That's about knowing yourself, being true to yourself. These qualities? They're like, the ultimate flex, proof that you've transcended the three gunas. The next verse is gonna drop the tea on how to actually do that.
