Verse 14.13

अप्रकाशोऽप्रवृत्तिश्च प्रमादो मोह एव च।तमस्येतानि जायन्ते विवृद्धे कुरुनन्दन।।14.13।।

aprakāśho ’pravṛittiśh cha pramādo moha eva cha tamasy etāni jāyante vivṛiddhe kuru-nandana

Meaning

Arjuna, when Tamas is dominating, it's all dark vibes, no cap. Total inactivity, major brain fog, and straight-up delusion. It's a whole mood.

Commentary

Yo, Arjuna, when Tamas is, like, *really* dominant, it's all doom and gloom. Total darkness, zero motivation, you're spacing out, and you're completely clueless. It's like, you're mistaking inactivity for chill vibes, thinking you're all zen and stuff, but nah, it's just straight-up Tamas. It's a total vibe kill, blocking you from leveling up in life. People think it's peace, but it's a trap. It's like, 'everything is predetermined, it's all an illusion, why even bother?' That's not spiritual; that's just straight-up Tamasic laziness. You gotta ditch that.
