Meaning

That light? It's the brightest light ever, way beyond darkness. It's knowledge, the stuff you gotta know, and the goal of knowing it all. It's in everyone's heart.

Commentary

Bro, the Supreme Self is like, the ultimate glow-up for your intellect, mind, sun, moon, stars, fire, and lightning. It's, like, self-illuminated, no cap. The sun ain't even shining there, not even the moon or stars, or lightning, or fire. When *it* shines, everything else is just vibing off its light. It's all about that knowledge, that humble knowledge (check verses 13.7-11). The knowable stuff? That's in verses 13.12-7. The goal? It's that wisdom you can actually grasp. These three things? They're straight-up installed in everyone's heart (Buddhi). It's like, the sun shines on everything, but it's way brighter on things that are clean and shiny, like a mirror, right? Brahman is in everything, but your intellect shines extra bright when it gets that Brahman boost. (See 10.20, 13.3, 18.61)
