Verse 10.24

पुरोधसां च मुख्यं मां विद्धि पार्थ बृहस्पतिम्। सेनानीनामहं स्कन्दः सरसामस्मि सागरः।।10.24।।

purodhasāṁ cha mukhyaṁ māṁ viddhi pārtha bṛihaspatim senānīnām ahaṁ skandaḥ sarasām asmi sāgaraḥ

Meaning

Yo, Arjuna, listen up: I'm the ultimate chief priest, Brihaspati. Among all the army generals, I'm Skanda. And when it comes to lakes? I'm the ocean.

Commentary

Brihaspati? Total chief priest of the gods, like, Indra's main dude. Skanda? Yeah, that's Kartikeya or Lord Subramanya—the GOAT general of the god squad. And, like, for all the water spots—lakes, ponds, whatever—I'm the ocean. No cap.
