Verse 10.21
आदित्यानामहं विष्णुर्ज्योतिषां रविरंशुमान्। मरीचिर्मरुतामस्मि नक्षत्राणामहं शशी।।10.21।।
ādityānām ahaṁ viṣhṇur jyotiṣhāṁ ravir anśhumān marīchir marutām asmi nakṣhatrāṇām ahaṁ śhaśhī
Meaning
Among the twelve Adityas, it's Vishnu, no cap. Sun's shining bright? That's Vishnu's glow-up. Of all the Maruts, Marichi's the MVP. And the moon? Yeah, that's Vishnu's star.
Commentary
Okay, so like, Vishnu is, like, totally the main dude among the twelve Adityas. And the sun? Yeah, that's him, radiating major vibes. Out of all the Maruts (wind gods—there's like, a LOT), Marichi's the GOAT. And the moon? That's Vishnu's star power, for sure. It's all about Vishnu's different forms, some low-key (like the twelve months), some extra lit (like the sun and moon). You can, like, totally meditate on the sun and moon and be all, 'That's Vishnu, that's Vishnu!' Same goes for all the other peeps mentioned in this chapter.
